Thanks to all who played, donated and did both, in the CRA Benefit Tournament.  This annual tournament earned over $1000 in entries and donations, which will be used to pay entry fees and expenses for national and world tournaments. 

The Colorado Juniors have represented our State extremely well in past years, placing in the top five states each of the last four years.  Some states have over three times the numbers that we take to these tournaments.  To be able to move up in the national rankings, we are going to have to take more juniors to these tournaments. 

Two of our juniors went to the 19th IRF Junior World Tournament in Cochabamba, Bolivia in December.  The United States players had a good tournament and placed second to Mexico.  I heard that about 60% of players, coaches and parents got sick from the water and a couple of players even had to go to the hospital.

Mixed Open/A- Danny Alonzi/Deb Beldring first and Barb Mehegan/Greg Kellums second.
Mixed B’s – Nicole Cordova/Carlos Cordero-loza first and Summer Ariedge/Brian Hall second.
Men’s Open/A – Greg Kellums/Mike Vrabel first Alan Bielgard/John Hulick second.
